Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis From Work

I have a workers comp claim that was started in Jan 1990. My attorney advised me to file for permanent partial disability and draw that out and then file for permanent total. Currently I'm still fighting the legal system and all the appeals on my case. Its hard to compress 11 yrs of fighting into a short story. I believed in the system that is suppose to be an honest and fair one. what I've discovered here is a crocked system.

My biggest problem began when the Industrial Commission hired a Dr in Akron to examine me. This doctor didn't do the necessary tests or even so much as take a simple X-ray! The stuff on my lungs would of shown up on those X-rays had he of done them. But now I understand why he didn't. He would of lied to of deny my claim had he done so. The industrial commission in Canton Ohio are the ones that hired him. They had to of been the very ones to of paid him to deny my claim.

Its the industrial commission that hires those hearing officers that hear my claim and they are paid by the commission. their being told or paid to deny my claim. My case is currently pending in the Ohio State Supreme Court waiting to be heard . I've been to 11 lung specialists and all say the same thing..I've had lung surgery, x-rays, lung function tests, I've been through it all and they all say the same thing except this one dr that I know was paid to deny my claim and has tied it up in the courts for years!

This one dr dismissed another state dr that agreed with the other drs also. I've since started seeing a specialist at the Cleveland Clinic and have had other tests done. However at the next hearing at the industrial commission the hearing officer refused to even so much as look at that drs report! My attorney said they had to, it was new evidence but I was told they didn't have to. So they didn't.

So currently, I have no income, I'm beyond stressed. My lungs are a mess and no one cares! At times I wished I'd just died, I'm still seeking answers on how to turn my case around.
